# Getting started

1. Install hello-hut:

   ```sh
   pip install --user hello-hut
   ```

2. Say hello:

   ```console
   $ hello-hut
   Hello, friend!
   ```

3. Make it yours with a configuration file — see
   [the FAQ](faq.md#how-do-i-change-the-default-name).
